Can science and religion exist harmoniously together? As the world of science and theories progresses, I am no longer confident that they can. Each new theory that is brought forth about the existence of the universe, the forming of the earth, or the evolution of human beings, leads human minds further and further away from the belief in an all powerful God the Father who created all things, even us, and sent us here through our first parents Adam and Eve.
To say that a chance explosion set the world into motion and formed the solar system perfectly, placing our earth exactly the right distance away from the sun and other planets, creating the perfect atmosphere capable of sustaining human life, is truly to question God's great creation and power.
In the book of Genesis, in the Holy Bible, it explains the six days of creation by God the Father. On the sixth day God created man. It says that God created man after is own image. He patterned our human bodies after his own, a body of flesh and blood. Have you ever studied how complex and how glorious the human body is? Our nervous systems are so delicate and intricate, our circulatory systems is so complex and splits down to tiny capillaries, our entire body is covered with tiny sense receptors, our heart continually pumps blood throughout all the veins and arteries in our bodies, and all the other systems allow us to live wonderfully and happily. To say that we evolved from some sort of algae or fish or primate, or whatever scientists are claiming these days, is truly to question the Holy Scriptures and to question Gods power.
Science and Religion are growing further and further apart as science inches closer and closer to not believing in God's great power and creation.
